About

ALI started as fight night merch

Not a brand. A few tees printed so my corner and my family had something to wear when I fought. That was the whole plan.

Then people started asking where they could get one. That wasn't the plan either.

Made by someone who trains

I came up through Muay Thai and kickboxing. I fight MMA professionally now.

That's the whole qualification, and here it's the only one that counts.

ALI exists because most of what I was buying wasn't good enough. Kit that clung at forty-five minutes instead of drying. Seams sitting where they rub. Shorts that ride up the second you shoot.

You learn what fails by having it fail on you, in a round you can't stop to fix it.

Most of what we change is invisible in a product photo. All of it is obvious in week six of a camp.

Where it's made

Thailand, by people who have been building fight kit for decades. Shorts first, rashguards after.

Small runs. Small runs sell out; large ones sit in a cupboard.

Why the words are on the inside

The quotes don't go on the chest. They go on the inner liner, where nobody sees them but you.

That's deliberate. A line printed on the outside is branding. The same line printed where only you'll find it is a reminder — and it lands at the one moment it's any use, when you're getting changed for a session you don't feel like doing.

Consistency over intensity. Integrity over convenience. Choose right over easy. The harder choice sits on top, every time.

That's the whole idea. Clothing that puts a choice in front of you.

道標

Michishirube. A guidepost.

Not a sign that tells you where to go — a marker that shows the way and leaves you to walk it. The koi swims upstream because that's what it is, not because anyone told it to.

It's the idea the rest of this sits on, and it's why the clothing doesn't shout.

The three words

To aspire is private. It's the thing you want before you've told anyone.

To lead is public. It's what you do when people are watching.

To inspire isn't something you do at all. It's what happens if the first two are authentic.

That's the order it works in, and it's why the brand is three verbs rather than a noun. It starts with you and moves outward. We just make the thing you put on before it starts.
